The International Liaison is committed towards promoting excellence in neuropsychological testing, interpretation, and intervention across the diverse cultural and linguistic context of Asia to ensure ethical and culturally sensitive practices within the field. We aim to:
- Become an apex body that could ideally offer professional trainings, teaching and certification programs through didactics teaching, examination, CE credits, case consults and presentations for neuropsychologists of Asian descent to enhance and improve their clinical knowledge base and competence through the development of general guidelines and practice standards that can be adapted into the local context of Asia.
- Build connections with existing neuropsychological organizations across Asia to facilitate collaborations in education, clinical training, research, and other initiatives.
- Strengthen support for professional members in the international community by increasing their participation within ANA.

She earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology from Fordham University and completed her predoctoral internship at the UC Davis CAARE Center and MIND Institute. Her work also focuses on the lived experiences of individuals and families with neurodevelopmental differences. Dr. Hu has served in multiple mentorship and supervisory roles and is currently a member of the KnowNeuropsychology Committee. She is passionate about advancing equity and access in neuropsychology through clinical care, training, and program development, particularly by promoting Asian heritage neuropsychology and expanding culturally responsive neuropsychological services, education, and consultation for Asian individuals, families, communities, and healthcare professionals.
